29𝐊 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 29 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 | Forging a new partnership, the Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako Law Office (SRMO) commits to supporting the MWSS Regulatory Office (RO)’s environmental protection efforts. On 18 September 2026, MWSS RO Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty and SRMO Senior Partner Atty. Elita Joy Quicho signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to collaboratively support vital watershed reforestation and protection efforts.

This MOA symbolizes the dedication of both organizations to initiatives that are crucial for sustaining the water supply of Metro Manila and adjacent provinces. Through this collaboration, both parties aim to help secure this critical resource for future generations.

Over the years, and in partnership with various stakeholders, the Office has conducted tree-planting initiatives in the following locations:

La Mesa Dam Watershed, Quezon City

This year, as part of its 29th anniversary celebration, the MWSS RO pledged to plant 29,000 seedlings in support of the Philippine Government’s Expanded National Greening Program.
