Cesar P. Manalaysay: Renowned legal scholar, Mr. Manalaysay has shaped the minds of countless legal luminaries at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law (ADMU). His expertise in Obligations and Contracts, and Law on Sales has been instrumental in producing some of the best legal minds in the country including judges, justices and private practitioners.

Victor N. Alimurung: A seasoned legal educator, Mr. Alimurung has dedicated decades to teaching Legal Ethics at ADMU. His insights and guidance have undoubtedly contributed to the development of ethical and responsible lawyers.

Antonio C. Pido: Distinguished labor law professor, Mr. Pido has made significant contributions to the field through his teaching at the University of the Philippines (UP). His expertise has been invaluable, as evidenced by his role as a member of the UP Bar Review Institute’s panel of experts.

Nicanor N. Padilla: A recipient of the Order of the Purple Feather at the UP College of Law, and a topnotcher in the 1988 Bar Exams, he has taught taxation and contract law at the College of Business Administration (now Virata School of Business) UP Diliman Campus, and De La Salle University Taft Campus.

Michael Felipe A. Mercado: Mr. Mercado, a topnotcher in the 2001 Bar Exams, has been a valuable contributor to the legal education landscape, teaching Constitutional Law at the Universidad de Manila College of Law. As a commercial and construction arbitration practitioner, he also taught Arbitration Law in the same university. Mr. Mercado also taught Legal Profession and Sales in his alma mater, San Beda College of Law.

Elita Joy P. Quicho: A recipient of the Order of the Purple Feather at the UP College of Law, Ms. Quicho imparts her expertise in Persons and Family Relations, Obligations and Contracts, and Commercial Laws to students at the UP College of Law, San Beda Alabang College of Law, and University of Makati School of Law. Her extensive teaching experience also includes stints at Universidad de Manila College of Law and Manila Adventist College School of Law and Jurisprudence.

Jonalyn G. Porquez: Ms. Porquez, Valedictorian of the San Beda Alabang College of Law Class of 2013, shares her knowledge in Statutory Construction, Property, Partnership, Agency and Trust, Intellectual Property Rights and Legal Philosophy with aspiring lawyers at her alma mater.

Raegan L. Capuno: Mr. Capuno, a consistent Dean’s Lister at the San Sebastian College of Law, has made significant contributions to the field of Tax Law. He teaches the subject at San Sebastian College of Law, lectures in the pre-bar review and has authored a highly regarded comprehensive and updated two-volume book on Tax Law.

SRMO lawyers who are also former professors are Victorio H. Macasaet, Jr., Raniel L. Dimayuga, Christopher P. Capul, Daryll Matthew T. Santos, and Eilyn E. Medina-Garcia.

Philippine Judicial Academy

Ferdinand M. Hidalgo, Head of the SRMO Tax Practice Group and a respected figure in the Philippine legal community, has also been appointed by the Philippine Supreme Court as a regular member of the Philippine Judicial Academy (PhilJA) Tax Department in recognition of his exceptional expertise in Tax Law. He also taught tax law at Lyceum of the Philippines University – College of Law.

PhilJA is the primary training institution for the Philippine judiciary. As a regular member of its Tax Department, Mr. Hidalgo shares his deep knowledge and insights with aspiring applicants to judicial positions, contributing to the development of the next generation of judges and justices. His appointment to this prestigious role underscores his dedication to legal education and his commitment to fostering a strong and knowledgeable legal profession.
