Ms. Veronica Jude E. Abarquez’s field of practice includes taxation and corporate law.

Ms. Abarquez was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2004 and joined Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako in 2010.

She provides tax and corporate legal services for multinational corporations such as Petronas, Swedish Match Philippines, Inc. and ABB, Inc. on various business transactions such as sale and loan contracts, payment of dividends, corporate structuring and restructuring, incorporation and dissolution of corporations, compliance with foreign exchange regulations, and tax treaty ruling applications.

Ms. Abarquez earned her Bachelor of Laws from the Ateneo Law School in 2003. She earlier received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Management from Ateneo de Manila University in 1999.


It has come to the attention of Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako (SRMO) that unauthorized individuals are falsely representing themselves as partners or associates of the Firm. These individuals are misusing the Firm’s name, as well as the names of our lawyers to solicit payments or offer fraudulent legal services.

These activities are being carried out through SMS, Viber, Facebook, generic email providers (such as Gmail or Yahoo), and other social media or messaging platforms.

The Firm disclaims any responsibility for dealings with imposters. If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be affiliated with SRMO and you have doubts as to their identity, do not provide personal information or make any payments.
