Mr. Alcantara is an Associate in Siguion Reyna, Montecillo & Ongsiako and joined the firm in 2022. Mr. Alcantara’s practice includes Dispute Resolution, Labor Law, and Corporate Law. As part of his Dispute Resolution practice, Mr. Alcantara has appeared in various judicial and quasi-judicial agencies involving civil and criminal litigation, including special proceedings. He was part of the team that defended an international hotel casino from a hostile takeover. He has also handled cases at the appellate level, including cases before the Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, and the Supreme Court. As part of his Corporate Law practice, Mr. Alcantara has provided assistance in general corporate housekeeping, including contract reviews, and assisted in a transaction involving the sale of corporate shares. He has also a considerable experience in Labor Law, such as those involving employment disputes and voluntary arbitrations. In law school, Mr. Alcantara was part of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team that represented the Ateneo Law School. In 2021, his team reached the World Quarterfinals and he was awarded as the 9^th Best Oralist in the Philippine National Rounds.
