Atty. Kristian John Parde Nilo is an Associate in Siguion Reyna, Montecillo & Ongsiako. He joined the Firm in August 2025.
Atty. Nilo’s practice includes litigation, dispute resolution, and labor law.
He has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, appearing before First and Second Level Courts, Offices of Provincial and City Prosecutors, and other quasi-judicial bodies within Metro Manila and nearby provinces. In his labor law practice, he has represented manpower service providers before Offices of Labor Arbiters, various Divisions of the National Labor Relations Commission, and the Court of Appeals. He has also handled several matters as legal counsel for respondents in administrative cases, and appeared before hearing and adjudication boards of national government agencies in the executive department.
Since joining the Firm, he has expanded his practice in areas such as handling valuation disputes at the Bureau of Customs, financial rehabilitation and liquidation proceedings of distressed corporations, and judicial settlement of estate proceedings.
Before joining the Firm, he was an associate at Habacon and Han Law Offices (formerly Garcia Habacon & Han) after passing the bar. He likewise served as a legal consultant under the Office of the City Engineer in the Quezon City – Department of Engineering.
Hailing from humble roots in CEMBO, Kris is the first lawyer in a family of successful Filipino seafarers, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Outside of law, he has keen interest in history, psychology, and philosophy. He enjoys listening to music and watching movies in his free time.
