Mr. Amador is one of the Firm’s home-grown Partners. He joined the Firm as an underbar associate in March 2022 and quickly developed a penchant for litigation. Owing to the Firm’s training environment and the Litigation Practice Group’s mentorship and guidance, Mr. Amador rose through the ranks until his admission to the Partnership in July 2025.
During this time, Mr. Amador was involved in litigation across various fields, including:
Special Writs: Secured the writ of habeas corpus in favor of a client who was illegally arrested and prosecuted by law enforcement. Successfully defended the same client’s company in environmental litigation for the writ of kalikasan.
Criminal Defense: Favorably defended clients against a variety of white-collar crimes, including qualified theft, estafa, perjury, and falsification of documents. The results range from dismissals at the administrative level to acquittals during trial and on appeal.
Private Prosecution: Recently prosecuted a group of a client’s ex-employees engaged in defrauding a client and pilfering the company’s assets. This included successfully discharging one of them as a state witness. Other prosecutions resulted in successful asset recovery in varying amounts.
Land and Property Disputes: Litigated against the Department of Public Works and Highways involving billion-peso infrastructure projects. Secured a multimillion-peso award against a property developer for unsound practices and property damage.
Other involvements include corporate takeovers, probate proceedings and estate settlement, rehabilitation proceedings, expropriation suits, quieting of title, and civil cases for specific performance, damages, nullification of contracts, and collection.
