Ms. Peña’s practice includes Labor and Employment Law, Persons and Family Relations, and Litigation.

In the field of Labor and Employment Law, Ms. Peña has vast experience in labor standards and benefits, employment termination and discipline, outsourcing arrangements, and issues arising from reorganization and “right-sizing” programs. She is proficient in drafting employment contracts, employee handbooks and codes of discipline, and various forms of service engagement contracts that are geared towards the specific operational requirements of the client. She regularly advises clients in their day-to-day human relations management concerns. She has delivered lectures and seminars to managers and supervisors of several leading companies in the Philippines on social legislations, labor relations law, and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act.

In relation to her Persons and Family Relations practice, Ms. Peña has assisted clients in adoption cases and actions for the declaration of nullity or annulment of marriage. Her Litigation expertise, on the other hand, covers torts and damages, contractual breach, aviation and transportation law, and special proceedings.

Ms. Peña’s diverse clientele is composed of domestic, foreign and multi-national corporations engaged in a wide array of industries including knowledge and business process outsourcing (BPO), aviation and transportation, information technology, telecommunications, banking and finance, advertising and marketing, agriculture, food and beverage, and manufacturing or retail of consumer products.

During her free time, Ms. Peña loves being with her family and friends, traveling around the world, SCUBA diving, swimming laps, going to museums, and viewing films and stage plays. She is a devoted fur mom to two hyperactive dogs, a certified Advanced SCUBA Diver, an amateur non-scientific stargazer, a self-confessed roller-coaster junkie, and an avid collector of snow globes from all over the world.
