Ms. Seña is a Senior Partner in Siguion Reyna, Montecillo & Ongsiako. She joined the firm in 1997 after transferring from Sycip, Salazar, Hernandez & Gatmaitan.
Ms. Seña is the Deputy Head of the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration Department. She specializes in civil, commercial and criminal litigation, representing individuals and private corporations. She counts real estate developers, multinational corporations, banking institutions, mining corporations, manufacturing entities, oil and gas companies and airlines among the clients that she represents.
Ms. Seña provides expert advice on family law, succession and contracts.
She is a trained arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI) and she has successfully prosecuted and defended arbitration cases before the CIAC, the PDRCI and the Philippine Clearing House Corporation.
Ms. Seña also heads the firm’s Intellectual Property Department which services clients in diverse industries, including but not limited to telecommunications, pharmaceutical, chemical, manufacturing, consumer goods, clothing and apparel, and hospitality.
She handles trademark, patent and design prosecution as well as trademark opposition cases before the IPOPHL. She likewise advises clients on trademark and patent concerns and issues.
Apart from her litigation and IP practice, Ms. Seña has also handled labor matters (specifically, collective bargaining negotiations and illegal dismissal cases).
Ms. Seña is an accredited Mandatory Continuing Legal Education lecturer, a Bar Reviewer and a professorial lecturer in the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law where she is currently teaching Civil Law Review.
Ms. Seña ranked fifth among the successful examinees of the 1995 Bar Examinations and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1996.
She is a member of the Quezon City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
