Atty. Batalla’s fields of practice are in civil litigation/arbitration, corporate rehabilitation and labor law. He clerked for Justice Ricardo Pronove, Jr. of the Court of Appeals, while finishing his law degree. Subsequently, he worked for the Philippine Senate as a member of the technical staff of former Senator Santanina Rasul before joining the Firm.

Mr. Batalla is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Law (1989), and took his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in the same university (1982).

He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
